Join Tara Casagrande in a 30 minute mindfulness meditation class in which we will briefly discuss the benefits of mindfulness and meditation. We will have a short, slow movement practice to center ourselves in our bodies. Finally we will be together in silence to fully experience a meditation practice in the community.

Kat Buechel, Ph.D., is a Washington, D.C. based yoga instructor. Kat has trained in many different yoga styles: vinyasa flow, Prana Flow, Jivamukti, Lotus Flow, YogaWorks, and Katonah Yoga. She has seen how athletes of every type can grow and become stronger both mentally and physically for their lives off the mat. She believes in using the yoga practice to better organize your body for functionality off the mat and in life. She holds the following certifications as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT): E-RYT500 hour and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
Jeneen Piccuirro, MFA, is a mother, artist, bellydancer, yogi, healer & earth loving free-spirited visionary and has been teaching, exhibiting artwork and performing locally and internationally for the past 32 years. Jeneen weaves her training in subtle energy, sound work and integrated alignment including crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, drum, chant, tuning forks, smudging, sacred geometry and crystals, into her life and programs. She loves creating and holding sacred ceremonies as a way to align others with their passion through sound, movement and art.
Vinyasa Yoga class creatively designed to wake up the body and embrace the fall equinox together on our mats. Sequencing will be designed to detox the body through safe and effective movements available to all levels and with modifications offered. We will take our time to heat the body, move through a juicy flow. At the end of class, Sonal from The Om Room will help us release old energy through the ancient ritual of smoke-cleansing. Breathe in and the smoke from the sacred plants ward off negativity and help you start fresh with new energy. All levels of yoga are welcome!
Marissa Walch, Best of Baltimore winner, is a full-time, certified fitness, yoga and wellness professional based in the Maryland area. She has worked in the fitness industry for more than a decade, and she loves to share her knowledge and passion for living a healthier life with her clients. Marissa is a 500-hour registered yoga instructor, certified personal trainer, and certified group exercise instructor. She teaches a variety of classes and provides personal training to clients both in person and virtually. During the summer, Marissa can be found on the water at Capital SUP Annapolis as their stand-up paddleboarding fitness director or teaching yoga during the four-day Wanderlust Festivals and teaching large scale events outside. She’s also proud to partner with Pure Raw Juice as their leading Fueled Athlete in the Baltimore area and teaches online for YogaWorks at home and in person at the Under Armour Performance Center. She hopes to inspire everyone she meets with her passion for fitness, whether it’s in a group fitness class or private event. Her clients have fun, feel stronger, and sweat!

Reggie is an internationally recognized yoga and meditation teacher and the founder/chief serving officer of Active Peace Yoga.
